DESCRIPTION
Harmony South Dakota is an after-school program designed to empower children and positively transform their lives through immersive music education and performance. Through the experience of making music in community, participants from underserved communities develop self-discipline, self-confidence, concentration, coordination, emotional awareness, patience, cooperation, imagination and cognition.Join for an intriguing panel discussion and conversation to learn more about how this educational program works to build community and develop life skills through music, and how to adapt many of these processes to other impactful arts work.
