Home is Where the Art is Billboard Project

South Dakota Community Arts Councils were invited to participate in our new billboard project to promote the arts throughout the state. In partnership with Lamar Advertising, Arts South Dakota sponsored this service for FREE to our community arts council member organizations where local billboards were available. The billboards will remain in these communities for at least four weeks, and they could be up longer or until another entity purchases that billboard location. #HomeIsWhereTheArtIs, #StateofCreate, #hifromsd

“Each community in South Dakota is home to individuals who are creating art,” said Jim Speirs, Arts South Dakota Executive Director. “Community Arts Councils promote and celebrate local art while encouraging and supporting their creative citizens. The Home is Where the Art is billboards spotlight arts organizations and the artists in their communities.”
