I. Position Summary
The Gifted and Talented Performing Arts (GTPA) Teacher is responsible for designing, implementing, and assessing a performing arts program that fosters creativity, innovation, and artistic excellence for gifted and talented students. The program emphasizes Native American performing arts, integrating cultural heritage, storytelling, music, dance, and traditional performance practices. The teacher will provide differentiated instruction, support student growth, and guide students to participate in culminating activities such as school performances, inter-state and state competitions, the LNI Performing Arts Showcase, and other relevant performing arts programs. All instruction and programming comply with Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) guidelines and school policies.
