The women’s singing group Mirabile, now in its 15th year, will be presenting “Songs of Spirit” on Sunday, March 29, at 3 p.m., in the historic AME Church (508 Cedar, Yankton). The free concert will include two African-American spirituals — especially appropriate in this very special venue — plus a set of Shaker Songs, an Appalachian folk tune, the anthem “Sing Me to Heaven,” an audience-participation piece called “What Happens When a Woman?,” and more — all a cappella.
