Best of the West showcases the work of Rapid City high school students and is a tribute to the tremendous talent and dedication of area students and their teachers. Each year the exhibition highlights a multitude of artistic disciplines including: painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, collage, printmaking, pastels, drawing and traditional arts.
Featuring the work of BHSU seniors graduating with a fine arts or K12 teaching degree in the arts. The show includes 25 students with a wide variety of mediums, techniques, and concentrations. Artwork will include capstone pieces in painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media and graphic design.

Ladies, Bros & Clothes combines two bodies of Klaire Lockheart’s work, Brodalisques and Feminine Attempts. Klaire enjoys using the human form and humor as a vehicle to communicate the agency of women with viewers.
