Theme: The Fusion of Monumentality and Technology
The Steel District in partnership with The Washington Pavilion located in Sioux Falls, SD requests qualifications from experienced and innovative artists and/or artist teams interested in creating a site-specific, monumental sculpture that seamlessly integrates technology. This unique public art installation will enhance the landscaping in a vehicle roundabout, serving as a dynamic focal point for both residents and visitors in a brand new development in Sioux Falls, SD.

May 3 – June 24th, 2024 – Design Time and Site Visit for Finalists
June 25th, 2024 – Final Proposals Due
June 26th, 2024 – Final Artist Selected
July 2024 – April 2025 – Design and Artwork creation
