My name is Esther and I am working on a senior project for my English 12 course. The project is meant to be paired with an essay I wrote, highlighting the rich history of printmaking in South Dakota. The project is called “Printmakers of South Dakota: A Digital Gallery.”
“Printmakers of South Dakota: A Digital Gallery” will be a webpage showcasing various print artists in the state, from amateur to professional levels. Each artist will fill out a digital submission form, answering a few questions such as the city they’re from, the title of their featured artwork, and their email address. The goal of this gallery is to make connecting with other printmakers as accessible as possible. Being able to contact artists with questions is very helpful.
The project’s success revolves around how many people submit work. It is extremely important that it is shared with as many people as possible. The deadline for submissions is on March 25, a short time away. I understand this is a short amount of time, and may affect participation. If there is anybody you know who would be interested in filling this out, please share this poster with them. I would appreciate any help.
