Gallery 1516 | Call for Photographers: Juried Photo Exhibition

Calling all photographers! Get your submissions ready for our upcoming juried exhibition, the 2024 Regional Photography Biennial!

The Photo Biennial is open to submissions from any artist who currently lives in or previously lived in: Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

We are looking for the best fine art photography from the region! Photos do NOT need to depict regional subject matter – photographers working in any style or subject are welcome to apply!

This year’s exhibition is judged by Keith F. Davis, the former curator of photography at the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City. Davis is also the former curator of the Hallmark Photographic Collection.

Artists selected for the exhibition are eligible for a variety of awards, including:

• $10,000 for the Best in Show photograph

• $1,000 awards for the best photo in each of nine categories

As a non-profit organization, Gallery 1516 does not take commission fees from sales – 100% of the sale price goes directly to the artist(or to be distributed by their gallery representative).
