SUMMARY
The Black Hills Playhouse seeks an experienced and energetic Education Program Coordinator to be the lead teaching artist who oversees artistic teaching and directing aspects of Dakota Players (touring children’s theatre) Summer Performing Arts Camps, and Expanding Stage (all-ability programs).

Founded in 1946, The Black Hills Playhouse (BHP) is a region-wide theatrical service organization whose mission is to engage diverse people and build stronger communities through artistically challenging, transformative, and inclusive performing arts experiences. The Black Hills Playhouse summer stock theatre produces a 14-week season in an intimate 347-seat proscenium theater located in Custer State Park in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Numerous educational programs, based out of Sioux Falls, SD, serve approximately 2,000 participants each year between Dakota Players tours, BHP Jr. summer performing arts camps, and Expanding Stage programs which serve people of all-abilities.
