CASTING:
BHCT seeks a diverse cast of performers ages 16 and up, as well as an apprentice company ages 14-18. Unless specifically stated otherwise, roles are open to qualified actors of all races, colors, ethnicities, gender identities, ages and abilities. The director and production team are deeply committed to inclusion throughout the audition and rehearsal process.
The apprentice company will facilitate BHCT’s “One Day Summer Camp” offered in conjunction with the performance. They will gain valuable experience mentoring young actors, as well as playing a variety of small roles within The Adventures of Pericles.
PREPARATION:
No preparation needed. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Audition scenes are posted on the website.
CALLBACKS:
Wednesday, December 18th at 6:30pm, Performing Arts Center of Rapid City; those that need to attend callbacks will receive an email after the second night of auditions.
SCHEDULE:
The cast will meet once a month January through April to workshop the script with playwrights. It is possible to attend these rehearsals virtually if needed.
Regular rehearsals (usually Sundays-Thursdays 6:30pm-9:30pm) will tentatively begin on May 4th.
