Black Hills State University and the Ruddell Gallery are pleased to present Prairie Poetics, a collaborative installation by artists Anne Skaug and Katie B. H. Wolff. This exhibition will be on view from March 3 through April 18, 2025, with a reception on March 20 from 5:00-7:00 PM.

Born of kindred landscapes and mirrored origins, Prairie Poetics reflects the countless conversations between Skaug and Wolff as they explore the intersections of personal history, grief, and place. The exhibition materializes these narratives into works that function as both relics and living spaces, offering a deeply felt connection between the artists, their histories, and the viewers who engage with their work.
