11:00 – 3:00 pm State Capitol for Arts Advocacy Day at the Legislature
Meet in the Capitol Rotunda
- 11:00-2:00 pm Governor’s Student Art Competition Exhibition
- 11:30-1:00 pm Meet with your legislators and let them know how the arts have impacted your community
- 12:00 -12:20 pm TF Riggs High School Pep Band “The Emerald Regiment” will perform in the Capitol Rotunda under the direction of Gage Ruhlman, Director of Bands
- 12:30-12:50 Eugene Field A+ Elementary (Sioux Falls) chorus “Treble Makers” with Buchanan Elementary (Pierre) & Philip Elementary (Philip) led by Allison Mickelson, Julie Willoughby & Barb Bowen
- 1:00 – 2:00 pm Mix & mingle or have lunch in the cafeteria
- 2:00 – 3:00 pm Floor announcements in House & Senate, 4th-floor balcony visitor’s seating
