Fun Friday

Fridays mean extra fun at the Children’s Museum of South Dakota. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram accounts for a sneak peek at the fun, free activities planned each Friday. Storytimes, art activities, chalk the walk, games — you never know what you’re going to get!

Fridays on the Plaza

Every Friday, musicians from across the region perform during the lunch hour outside the Dakota News Now studio in downtown Sioux Falls. Some of Sioux Falls’ best food trucks will also be on hand to serve up lunch.

Magnetic Fishing

Try your luck fishing on our outdoor fishing pond. Grab a magnetic fishing pole or a net, and if you’re lucky you’ll catch a sunfish or a record-setting trout! Activity is weather-permitting.

Sioux Falls Community Arts Tours

Art is everywhere in Sioux Falls! Join your tour guide, Marty, as she leads you on a one-hour tour exploring downtown Sioux Falls’ vibrant arts scene! Tours are offered on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights or by special request.
