Snapshot South Dakota is a department-sponsored photography contest that is focused on capturing the beauty of our outdoor resources in South Dakota.

- Four-Legged Friends
Judging will consist of one “Best in Category” for each category and one overall “People’s Choice,” resulting in four winners.
RULES
- Photographers are eligible to enter up to 3 photos.
- Photos must be in JPG format and be at least 1200 pixels wide or tall. Watermarked photos are not accepted.
- Files must be named in the following format: (firstname)(lastname)_(submission number)
- Example: allieellingson_01, allieellingson_02, allieellingson_03.
- Photos deemed inappropriate will not be eligible for People’s Choice voting.
- Deadline to submit photos for the summer period will be November 14. Voting for People’s Choice will begin in early December.
