Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services (LCBHS) has embarked on a project to build a new behavioral health treatment facility in Yankton, SD that is to be completed in Summer 2025. This project consolidates all the existing LCBHS programs and services onto one campus and adds a critically needed behavioral health crisis care component for youth and adults. The new facility will allow LCBHS to expand behavioral health crisis services to seven additional counties in southeastern and southcentral South Dakota. The 60,000 square foot facility will provide state-of-the-art care with 200 clinicians and staff providing care to include: mental health or substance use crisis care, anytime, any day or night, residential crisis stabilization for both mental health and substance use related crisis, inpatient substance use treatment, day treatment, outpatient mental health and addiction treatment, family therapy, individual child therapy and play therapy, and family support.
LCBHS is currently seeking donated or loaned art to be displayed in our brand-new Nonprofit Behavioral Health Center. If any interest or leads, please reach out to Holly Steffen via email: Holly.Steffen@LCBHS.net
