Calling all U.S.-based visual artists ages 16-25 with disabilities*! Applications are now open for the 2025 Access/VSA Emerging Young Artist Program.

Fifteen winning artists will each receive a $3,000 award, have one of their submitted pieces featured in an exhibition in D.C., and engage in a series of all-expenses-paid professional development workshops at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. June 17-21, 2025.

This year we’re asking artists to consider the theme: “Catalyst” and to explore how their artistic identity interacts with their disability identity to spark something new.

Learn more about the program on our website and register for our Application 101 webinar on January 22 at 7p.m. ET for tips on creating a strong application.

We look forward to receiving your application soon.
