The idea for this exhibition came about after the artist traveled the backroads of South Dakota during the pandemic. Barbara’s goal was to present a collection that would immerse viewers in fields of wildflowers found near Rapid City. Barbara began her career in art as a potter. She started the Great Plains Watercolor Society and has been painting and teaching her art form ever since then.
