This event is the second of two similar “prep sessions” for those who are curious about the upcoming April 25th event featuring a discussion focused on the book Higher Powers, with co-authors China Scherz, George Mpanga, and Sarah Namirembe.  Peter Hoesing, with assistance from Anna Simonson, will facilitate a discussion about the medical sector in Uganda with special attention to how traditional healers in particular, and religious communities more generally, shape the landscape of addiction care in Kampala, Uganda as well as beyond the capital city.
