The silent bird is hard to know.
Its velvet feathers comb the quiet air. Its talons grip branches high above the forest floor. Its strangely human eyes, piercing the darkness, hold wisdom as elusive as the owl itself.
This October, Ipso’s Mystic Hollow features works by Xavier Pastrano, Bryan Holland, Steve Bormes, Michelle St. Vrain, Luke Gorder, Laura Jewell, Tom McGill, Jesse Hewitt, and Tim Nickodemus.
Join us in the gallery alongside a South Dakota wildlife educator and raptor handler from The Falconry and Raptor Education Group out of Roslyn, SD for a rare glimpse into the nocturnal world of these mysterious creatures, in a setting that mirrors their own shrouded presence.
