The Madison Area Arts Council is thrilled to be a part of a special project between Lamar Advertising and Arts South Dakota. Billboards across the state will be showcasing local art and art organizations.
The Madison Area Arts Council was selected as a lucky recipient of a donated billboard just west of Madison on Highway 34.
After a public Call for Art this past December, local artist Thomas Jones was selected for inclusion. His picture “Madison Sunset” will be our featured artwork. The billboard will be installed later this month.
To celebrate, we’re hosting a special reception for Tom and his artwork at The BrickHouse on Friday, March 1st, from 7-9pm. All are welcome.
