Opening reception for “Small Work & Big Ideas” exhibit in partnership with Early Child Connection’s Mini Masters Program.
In the realm of art, size is no measure of impact, and neither should age. Small Works, Big Ideas celebrates the infinite creative potential we all have and packs it into intimate dimensions. This exhibit combines a diverse collection of small-scale creations by artists of all ages. Pablo Picasso famously said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up”. We are partnering with Early Childhood Connections to explore the natural creativity of small children and invite the “grown-ups” to take inspiration from that by creating smaller pieces of artwork.
This exhibition challenges our perceptions of scale, inviting us to appreciate the artistry in subtlety and find grandeur in the miniature. By focusing on the small, we are reminded that powerful art is not bound by size but by the heart and intention behind it. The works in this collection prove that even the smallest canvas or artist can carry the weight of big ideas.
