The 50-voice Plymouth Choir from First-Plymouth Church, Lincoln, Nebraska, will be presenting a concert focused on hymns and anthems addressing God by different names. In addition, director Tom Trenney, mostly now retired as a nationally known organ recitalist, has agreed to play several pieces on the Yankton College Memorial Pipe Organ in honor of the late Eugene Brinkmeyer, minister of music and organist at the Yankton UCC for decades. The Plymouth Choir’s YouTube channel has more than 25,000 subscribers and has been singled out multiple times as the only church choir to be invited to perform in honored competitions and as a finalist in the 2018-19 American Prize in Choral Performance.
