Gather and explore the mental & emotional landscape of Stress & Overwhelm. This interactive workshop will offer education, awareness, and a holistic perspective of what is going on “behind the scenes” within the body during times of stress & overwhelm. There will be opportunities to listen, share, reflect, & connect with community ~ a therapeutic in and of itself. You will also learn alternative & integrative tools, practices, & therapeutics that Dr. Sarah Sue has been successfully utilizing in her own practice, Journey Home Healing.
The body is where emotions and memories often reside. Be prepared to get out of the head and into the body.
Bring a notebook, your favorite mug, a curious mind, open heart, and wear comfortable clothing. A calming herbal tea formula will be offered to all who attend.

Dr. Sarah Sue Myers holds a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastry University and has been practicing medicine for 12+ years.  She has been teaching for much of her life in the world of medicine, healing, & earth stewardship.  She teaches for Saybrook University’s Mind-Body Medicine & Integrative Functional Nutrition departments.  Past teaching offerings have included clinical herbalism, plant & herbal medicine walks, her “Journey through the Chakras” series, mental well-being workshops, and grief ceremonies, as well as on various health topics, including environmental health & detox, gut health, women’s health, & birthing classes.  Her practice, Journey Home Healing, is where she serves as a healing facilitator & guide for people on their own healing journey back to wholeness ~ the journey home.  Her goal is to identify and remove obstacles to cure, empower, create a safe & sacred space, and pass on medicine, tools & skills so that those may find and remember their own inner light within, as these are the conditions & foundations for healing.  She is a dedicated mother, healer, & earth steward.
