Author Chris Stenson is coming to the Black Hills. Join Chris as he travels around the Black Hills as he celebrates his first novel Sins of the Mother. Sins of the Mother is a dark fantasy novel. A new Dark Age approaches. Evil walks unfettered between realities, no longer content in hiding in the shadows, feeding on the blood and the souls of the innocent. Three witches linked by blood and fate must close the door forever. Only one has the ability. The war for a young girl’s soul has begun. Sins of the Mother has reviews such as “once I started reading it I never put it down!!!” and “if you are looking for a witch story then add Sins of the Mother to your list”
At a young age, Chris had success winning young author contests, and his love for writing continued throughout high school and into adulthood. He is the founder and Executive Director of the Moorhead Friends Writing Group which has hosted nationally known authors as guest speakers. His short story “Two Bobbies” was selected for inclusion in the Horror Writers Network Anthology, The Gates of Chaos and was published in March 2021. “Roadkill Surprise”, a werewolf short story, was included in the summer print edition of the 2021 Horror Zine Magazine. Chris Stenson is joining up with Books-a-Million, Mystic Market, Piedmont Valley Library, and Henry’s Bookstore to host book signings at each location. These events will offer an opportunity for readers to meet a local author, get their books signed, and engage in an intimate discussion about the author’s latest works.
