Sioux Falls, SD – The Fellowship Jazz Center is proud to announce the debut performance of the Fellowship Jazz Center Orchestra (FJCO), Sioux Falls’ premier big band, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Belbas Theater. This momentous event will celebrate International Jazz Day with an unforgettable evening of music, showcasing the artistry and cultural significance of jazz—one of America’s greatest contributions to the world of music.

The FJCO brings together the finest musicians from the region, uniting their talents to deliver a high-energy, inspiring performance. The concert will feature works by renowned American composers, paying tribute to the rich tradition of jazz while introducing audiences to a bold new era of big band music in Sioux Falls.

Adding to the excitement, the evening will open with a special performance by Mitchell High School Jazz 1. This talented ensemble of young musicians will set the stage with a 20-25 minute performance, offering the next generation of jazz artists the opportunity to shine and inspire the audience with their passion and dedication.
