The 15th Annual Black Hills Film Festival begins Sept. 27 at 3:30 pm hosted by the Journey Museum in Rapid City, SD with the screening of FashionABLE, a documentary film about a unique Fashion Show in Rapid City. Opening night reception, introduction to filmmakers and special guests is at 5:30 pm and is followed at 7:00 pm by a special film presentation “The Best We’ve Got: The Carl Erskine Story.” Films continue at the Hill City High School Theater in Hill City, SD Sept. 28 & 29, 11 am to 9:30 pm both days. A FREE workshop (open to the public) on “Lighting for Film” will be held on Saturday morning 9 am – 12 pm. Sunday’s program features a FREE presentation a 1 pm by local Native American Actor, Sam Shoulder.
