25th annual Arts Education Institute

On the NSU campus July 15-18, 2024

The Arts Education Institute (AEI) offers professional development in arts and learning for all teachers and administrators Pre-K through 12th grade on the NSU campus in Aberdeen.

AEI offers an educational and fun-filled week of learning to infuse the arts into classrooms and curriculum development. This year IN PERSON art workshops offer opportunities for all Pre-K through 12th grade educators.

You DO NOT need to be an educator to attend AEI, we encourage everyone to attend.

AEI is offered for up to two graduate, undergraduate or recertification (CEU) credits.

SESSION DATES:
JULY 15-18
Participants can choose up to two, two day workshops. NOTE:  One workshop equals one credit up to 2 graduate/undergraduate or CEU recertification credits.

AEI REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
Participation is open to educators who complete the registration requirements.   Workshops with low registrants are subject to cancellation.

PROGRAM FEES (TWO CREDIT MAX)
STEP ONE | Workshop Registration: Each workshop registration fee is $60 until June 15. You may take one or two workshops.  One workshop equals one credit, with a max undergraduate/graduate/CEU credit of 2.

STEP TWO | Optional Graduate/Undergraduate credit ART 492/592 Advanced Fine Arts Methods
Participants have the option to earn up to TWO graduate or undergraduate credits. Payment of tuition for graduate/undergrad credit is due on the day of registration.  See registration form for details. Optional graduate credit available for an additional $40/credit, payable to NSU. CEU renewal credits available for no extra charge. PLEASE COMPLETE THIS FORM PRIOR TO JULY 12 IF TAKING FOR UNDERGRADUATE or GRADUATE CREDIT.

LOCATION
All workshops will be held on the NSU campus in Aberdeen.

DORM OPTION

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please notify us of a cancelation as soon as possible by contacting Shari Kosel.  Full refund before June 21 minus processing fees.
