Orange City Arts is now accepting submissions for the 2025 Regional Art Show, featuring works by artists from Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnesota. The exhibit will run from April 5 to May 3 at the NWC DeWitt Theatre Arts Building, coinciding with the NWC Theatre Department’s production of ‘An Enemy of the People’. Cash prizes for “Best in Show” and “Honorable Mention” will be awarded at the closing reception on May 3, 2025.

This year’s optional theme, Stewards of Creation, complements the theatre production’s adaptation of Arthur Miller’s classic. The theme invites artists to explore the interconnectedness of life and reflect on the urgent need to protect and preserve our shared environment.

“Stewards of Creation” invites artists to explore humanity’s role as caretakers of the Earth, celebrating the beauty of creation while reflecting on our responsibility to protect and nurture it. Artists are encouraged to submit 2D and 3D works showcasing the beauty of nature, environmental issues, or the connection between humanity and the environments.

The show and reception is free to the public. Viewing hours are M-Sat, 9 am to 10 pm.

The submission deadline March 21st, 2025.
