Sioux Falls Disability Awareness and Accessibility Review Board | Art needed for the 12th annual ArtAbility exhibit

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The Sioux Falls Disability Awareness and Accessibility Review Board is looking for art to include in its 12th annual ArtAbility exhibit.

ArtAbility is all about providing local artists with disabilities a platform to display and sell their work.

The event features refreshments, live music, and art for sale.

“The DAARB’s goal is to remove barriers for individuals with disabilities while promoting universal accessibility in the arts. Art has a tremendous ability to transcend barriers, connect us in unique ways, and enhance our overall quality of life,” said Tana Zwart, Chair of DAARB.

The event will be held on Friday. April 20, 2025, from 5 pm to 7 pm.

The event will take place at The Underground by Rehfeld’s, located at 431 North Phillips Avenue in Sioux Falls.

Artists with disabilities are encouraged to submit an entry form to participate in the ArtAbility Showcase by Friday, April 4, 2025.
