USArtists International supports performances by U.S. dance, music, and theater ensembles and solo artists invited to perform at important cultural festivals and performing arts marketplaces anywhere in the world outside the United States and its territories. USArtists International grantees reflect the vibrant diversity of U.S. artists and creative expression in the performing arts. The program has three rounds with application deadlines of September 9, 2021, December 1, 2021,and March 30, 2022. USAI is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Howard Gilman Foundation, and the Trust for Mutual Understanding and is the only program of its size and scope in the country.
