LOVE ART?! Hope to go to college for something art related? We have a perfect opportunity for you to bulk up that college application, and gain priceless experience.

JAM Art & Supplies in downtown Sioux Falls is a one-of-a-kind art nonprofit looking for one-of-a-kind high school age individual to serve as a summer intern. You will work largely with JAM’s executive director, as well as with the media manager. You may also have interaction with our volunteers, and volunteer coordinator.

We are a newer, small nonprofit, so you will be expected to wear multiple hats. Duties range from (but are not limited to) helping in the store, assisting with projects for Weird Art Wednesday, aiding with summer camp, organizing the gallery, and helping draw in customers through regular Snapchat and Instagram posts. We consider the variation a huge plus if you are hungry to know the ins and outs of an art nonprofit, make connections in the art community, and experience multiple facets of art in business and art in education. Flexibility, adaptability and self direction are three qualities we value most. We allow our interns a lot of ownership of their work, as well as flexibility in schedule.
