2019 Hill City Quilt Show & Sale – Located in the Hill City Middle School gyms, 488 E Main St, Hill City, SD 57745
Join us September 7 & 8 from 9am – 4pm daily for this two-day celebration of fabric arts. The show features a vendor mall, demonstrations, prizes, special events, and over 200 beautiful quilts.
New this year: expanded fiber arts demonstrations and displays! Spinning, weaving, felting, batik and more will be featured in the middle gym. Try your hand at something new and find out more about these art forms.
Quilt Entry Deadline: August 23th
**Featured Artist: Lori Comer’s award-winning quilts will be on display throughout the weekend.
**Free Kids’ Art Program: Felting With Wool, Saturday & Sunday, 10 – 11am and 1 – 2pm.
Pillowcase Round-Up: the Hill City Quilt Show invites you to make pillowcases to help comfort area kids. The pillowcases will be donated to local organizations that help children in need.
**Scavenger hunt at local businesses will feature “Colleen’s Garden”, a new quilt design by JoAnn Hoffman.
Bed-Turning Show & Supper: Saturday at 5pm. Bring a quilt for the bed and a story to share. Advance reservations required. Tickets $20, call Kay at 605-574-2937.
