Have you ever wondered how fiber from a sheep is turned to cloth to create the clothing you wear?

Saturday June 29th is your chance to see first hand at the Fall River Fibers sheep to shawl demonstration at the Main Street Arts and Crafts Festival in Hot Springs.

Watch a sheep being sheered at 10 am followed by fiber cleaning, carding and spinning demonstrations throughout the day. The final spun yarn will be used to create a one of a kind hand woven shawl which will be raffled off at the Fall River County Fair in August with proceeds going to helping fund the 4H textile project.

This is a Saturday only demonstration and will be near the Chautauqua Artisans booth under the covered pavilion.
