Calling all quilters, knitters, crocheters, sewing masters, felters, and embroiderers! The Grand River Arts Council is hosting a Quilt and Needlecraft Show during Boss Cowman Days at the Lemmon Public Library on July 12th-13th.
According to event organizer Julie Goeres, “The GRAC Quilt and Needlecraft Show is an annual vibrant celebration of textile artistry where enthusiasts gather to admire, learn, and showcase their creations. From intricately stitched quilts to delicate needlework, these events offer a feast for the eyes, featuring stunning displays of craftsmanship, creativity, and tradition.
Attendees can explore a variety of quilting techniques, embroidery styles, and fiber arts, while also enjoying workshops, demonstrations, and opportunities to connect with fellow artisans. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just discovering the world of needlecraft, the Quilt, and Needlecraft show is a must-visit for anyone passionate about fabric, thread, and the timeless art of stitching.”
Entries should be dropped off at the Lemmon Library during regular hours from July 8th – 12th. Needlecrafters will be asked to complete a registration slip including a project description.
Public viewing will be open July 12th and 13th from 10:00am – 6:00pm.
A prize will be awarded for people’s choice!
