Come join Kuumba Storytellers of Georgia as we host renowned Storyteller Ilene Evans from West Virginia for our August Professional Development Workshop. Its focus will be the building of layers for presentations of historical figures. By this we mean having a succession of stories built off the individual that can be told from different chapters in their life. More in depth than a “historical portrait,” Ilene will help you  breathe life into your ancestors by putting meat on their bones and running blood through their veins.
