FREE Performance by LADAMA
Date: March 10, Sunday
Time: 2 – 4:00 pm
Cost: NO Charge
Location: Hot Springs Mueller Center Theater

Mark your calendars! Bring your friends and family and join us for a special treat as we
present music by LADAMA, an ensemble of musicians from across the Americas who,
as well as performing as a touring band, strive to engage youth in their respective
communities in the process of music-making, composition and audio production through collaboration and performance
workshops. They are Mafer Bandola (Venezuela), Lara Klaus (Brazil), Daniela Serna (Colombia) and Sara Lucas (U.S.). With
rhythm and percussion driving their original compositions sung in Spanish, Portuguese and English they combine disparate,
traditional roots music with pop. The result is a sonic experience through which we can view our future as a world that
communicates across continents and cultures, with sound and story.

This public concert will be the final experience following a week of school and community events. LADAMA’S visit is made
possible by a partnership between Arts Midwest, the National Endowment for the Arts, SD Arts Council, CCABH and many
local businesses, organizations, and private supporters of CCABH programming.

Join us at The Space for a free Welcome reception on Tuesday, March 5th from 5:30- 7PM.
Other Open-to-the-Public Free Events during the week will be posted soon on the website.
