Spearfish City Park

It’s been celebrating artists for 46 years–The Festival in the Park, one of the largest outdoor summer arts and music festivals in the upper Midwest. Presented by the Matthews Opera House & Arts Center, it’s not only your favorite summer tradition, it’s the Matthew’s largest fundraiser of the year! Join us on Saturday, July 20 from 9 am-6 pm in Spearfish City Park to shop at nearly two hundred fine art, craft, and food booths!

Saturday, July 20: Vendors Open 9 am – 6 pm

Sunday, July 21: Vendors Open 10 am – 4 pm

With 18 food vendors serving an eclectic variety of cuisines, there’s something sure to please any appetite. All applications are subject to a juried process to ensure quality, variety, and originality. Free live onstage entertainment from local and regional artists is available daily. For those who want to sit with a cool beverage and listen to music, the “Watering Hole” never fails to please.

All New Children’s Circus

We have plenty for the kiddos, too! Visit the Children’s Circus in the volleyball court. Circus events include face painting, balloon art, and sand art!
