Once of the most famous symphonies of all time, Beethoven's 5th opens the season. Jessie Montgomery's "Banner," a rhapsody of the Star Spangled Banner and Adolphus Hailstork's engaging Symphony No. 3 are on the first half of this dynamic program.
One of the most original and interesting performers on today's classical music scene, pianist Emanuele Arciuli returns for this performance of Lou Harrison's colorful Piano Concerto, inspired by the Indonesian gamelan. You'll then be taken away by the storytelling of "Scheherazade".
