Job Description: 

The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Yankton Area Arts office. This includes all office functions and support as needed of the various projects sponsored by the organization. Plans and administers all program needs to meet the goals and objectives of Yankton Area Arts under the general direction of the Board of Directors.

Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.

Job Location: Yankton, SD

Work Schedule: Full-time (30-35 hours) – flexible scheduling with some nights and weekends.

Required Skills: Post-secondary education preferred, previous non-profit experience a plus, computer proficiency, excellent written and oral communication skills, organized, able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.

Personal Attributes: A leader who has the capacity to work independently and collaboratively. A creative, out-of-the-box thinker.
