We are surrounded by turmoil these days as never before in modern times.
This Call for Art is seeking work that represents feelings of joy, peace, belonging; visual representations of what helps the artist to connect to some kind of community; that shows where your support is found; or expresses how art gives meaning to your life and helps to understand the world as it is.
Regional artists are invited to submit up to five works for consideration to be included in The Retreat at Pointer’s Ridge first seasonal art exhibition during the summer of 2022. Art will be exhibited through the summer season, a focal point for all visitors to The Retreat.
Corresponding events will be planned as the season unfolds.
Entries must be submitted by 5:00 pm, May 28, 2022, to be considered. Jurying will take place that weekend, and artists accepted will be notified by Wednesday, June 1.
