Art Box

OVERVIEW:

Calling all South Dakota artists of all ages and skill levels. Submit original work; painting, drawing, digital art, illustration, or photography for the DTSF Art Box: Outdoor Gallery.  Artwork will be juried, and artists will be paid a stipend of up to $600 for their work.  Artwork will be printed on vinyl and wrapped on 1 of 26 utility boxes located around Downtown, Sioux Falls.

Submissions due:  APRIL 30, 2021

Artists will be notified by MAY 15, 2021

      • Digital Art files need to be formatted as jpeg or tiff, with a minimum 150 dpi/ppi, minimum 5000 pixels at the tallest or widest point of the image (meaning it is somewhere around minimum 10″ at the tallest or widest point). The preferred resolution would be 300 dpi/ppi and 8000 pixels at the tallest or widest point, file size would be around 5 MB.
  2. Simple Paper Submission Form
    1. Available at some local business  downtown and at all Sioux Falls Public Libraries
    2.  Can be picked up at the Sioux Falls Arts Council by appointment please call (605) 271-6696 to make arrangements
    3. Paper Submission Forms available in Arabic, Amharic, English, Nepali, Somali, Spanish and Swahili
