RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Wireframe and design static, responsive, and interactive infographics, as well as other project types including reports and social microcontent
  • Interpret and organize data for visualizations
  • Storyboard and design for motion graphics
  • Ability to handle all aspects of animation including motion, asset creation, compositing, editing, and rendering
  • Concept and execute a project from start to finish within specified deadlines

REQUIREMENTS

  • Training or experience creating animated sequences (basically, anything that makes you an amazing visual storyteller)
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Cinema 4D
  • Ability to work in a variety of animation styles
  • Very strong typographic skills, illustration skills, and use of space
  • Familiarity with infographics, motion graphics, interactivity, and information design
  • Attention to detail and quality control
  • Hustle to work in a fast, demanding startup environment
  • Confident presenting to colleagues and clients
  • Excellent communication skills and receptiveness to feedback
  • Experience working within remote teams
  • Minimum of two years experience in a related field

BONUS POINTS

  • Familiarity with productivity tools, especially Trello & Slack
  • Competency and/or experience animating 3D
  • Experience in one of the following: clogging, mixology, boondoggle braiding, or houseplant maintenance
