CALL TO EMERGING VISUAL ARTISTS

The Rapid City Arts Council is announcing an open call to emerging visual artists. The RCAC encourages artists to submit proposals for exhibits showcasing their original works of art in the Bruce H. Lien Cultural Café and EVA Gallery. Through a variety of exhibitions showcasing artists of all different mediums, this program mentors emerging visual artists and assists in increasing their public exposure through the opportunity of a solo exhibition. Are you interested?

Not quite ready for a solo exhibition? Get your artist friends together and submit a proposal for a group show of 1-5 artists. Each artist should complete an application and indicate that they are applying as part of a group and include the other participating artists names.

Not quite ready to exhibit, but in need of mentorship regarding your art? Contact Katie Wolff to set up a meeting to discuss your goals as an artist. Call 605-394-4101 x3 or email Katie directly at katie.wolff@thedahl.org.

ELIGIBILITY:
This exhibition is open to all emerging artists who are beginning their careers as artists and have not previously had a solo exhibition. All mediums, 2D and 3D, are welcome.
