Seeking Painters to join us for the Fall River Balloon Festival Plein Air Paint Out! This is a great opportunity to be part of our first annual Plein Air Paint Out, in Hot Springs, and to show your work__________ …. (Winning painting – have a chance to win a balloon ride (a $300 value!)
Guidelines:
This inaugural event is open to 15 artists.
Painting dates: August 24-25th, 2018
There is no registration fee prior to August 15th, 2018- after August 15th there will be a $10 entry fee.
All paintings must be painted “en Plein Air” and completed during the dates of the event.
All paintings must be completed between the Visitor’s Depot Information Center on North River Street and University Street including the street side areas or Freedom Trail along the water to Brookside Park. (Would like artists to be as visible to visitors as possible)
Paintings completed during the event can be offered at the wet sale, to the general public -beginning August 25th, at 4:30 pm in Chautauqua Artisan Market, located at 629 N. River Street, Hot Springs, SD 57747.
