BronzeAge Art Casting hosts a relaxed, outdoor art market on 4th Saturdays in summer for artists to sell their original artwork. This FREE, family-friendly event offers visitors an opportunity to appreciate and support locally-grown art. BronzeAge is just east of Falls Park and the Saturday Farmers Market which runs 8:00am-1:00pm Saturdays, May 4 – Oct 5.
LOCATION: BronzeAge Art Casting, 1110 N Weber Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57103
ARTWORK: The art market is not juried but we will only take a limited number of artists in a given medium to increase sale opportunities. We reserve the right to reject any application. Artists may rent space at one or all of the dates. Apply one at a time or all in advance.
- All work must be original fine art, functional art or wearable art created and made by the artist. Exceptions on metal castings, printmaking, photo prints, etc.. Original designs, paintings or photographs reprinted on cards, shirts, etc. are welcome when artist is also showing original art work.
- The artist must be present in the booth most. Demos encouraged.
- Two artists may share a booth, but each must submit an application/images and note
they are sharing. Both artists must be accepted.
- We recommend having a varied price range of artwork available for sale if possible.
SET UP:
- Setup time 6:00-8:15am Saturday. Earlier by arrangement. Unload near booth thenmove vehicle by 8:00am to Brion’s Electric, to the south. Please no early teardown.
- The market is on a grassy field. The grass is long and will be wet in the morning. No shade. Not perfectly level. Indoor restrooms available. Lots of gravel parking.
- Bring your own tent, tables, chairs, sandbags, etc.. All canopies/tents must have ample weights/ties downs. You are responsible for any damage caused to nearby artwork, etc. if your tent blows over. Please mark all cords and lines to prevent injury.
- Spaces accommodate up to a 12′ x 12′ tent. Inquire about larger tents.
- Space is first come, first served. We do reserve the right to arrange for a good mix.
- Internet is NOT available. Cell reception is good on site with most providers.
- No electric available other than in the building to charge your phone, tablet or laptop.
