The Duluth Art Institute announces the open call for submissions for the 63rd Arrowhead Regional Biennial. As one of the longest running biennials in the country, this exhibition features a wide range of artwork produced within the last five years from artists residing in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Michigan and Ontario, Canada. The exhibit is open to all 2D & 3D work. Selected work will be published in an exhibition catalog.

Awards – 1st place: $1,000, 2nd pace: $500; 3rd place: $250

About the Juror: The Duluth Art Institute is proud to announce the 63rd Arrowhead Regional Biennial juror, Kayla Aubid. Sharing her passion for the arts, Aubid is the Community Learning Catalyst at Arts Midwest where she collaborates with tribal, Black, Indigenous, rural, and other organizations led by and serving communities of color to coordinate resources and build relationships. Aubid holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in American Indian Studies from St. Cloud State University and serves on the Grand Rapids Arts and Culture Commission, facilitating vital arts programming in her community. As former Vice Chair of the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council and MacRostie Gallery Director, Aubid brings experience and enthusiasm to the 63rd Arrowhead Regional Biennial.
