The Rapid City Arts Council (RCAC) is pleased to announce a new show by artist Justin Sande. The show will be located in the Bruce H. Lien Cultural Café & EVA Gallery of the Dahl Arts Center and will run from January 28th, through March 19th.
Justin Sande has always found inspiration, awe, and refuge in the natural world. His photographs intend to capture the wild things of the world and present them in a way that allows the viewer to see connections between humanity and nature. By emphasizing the humanistic qualities of the wild subjects, Justin show us that we have more in common with other species than not.
Justin Sande is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography from Black Hills State University after a 20 year career in the Air Force.
This exhibit is sponsored by Emerging Visual Artist Program and the Rapid City Arts Council.
Images available upon request.
The Dahl Arts Center galleries are open Monday-Friday, 10am – 5pm. Admission is free; however, for those with the ability to pay, donations are encouraged and appreciated. For more information about upcoming exhibits, visit thedahl.org.
