Whether you want to write short stories, poetry, or a novel, you’re in the right place. Our class will focus on the basics of creative writing and all of the tricks of the trade. The first three weeks of class will consist of learning about the various types of creative writing and discovering where your talents lie. During the two week break you will develop a work in progress in your chosen medium and the last three weeks of the session will be spent editing and polishing your pieces. The instructor will be available over email/chat during the two week break to help with any questions you might have. The Monday after our session we will have an optional showcase/reading where you can present your work to family and friends like the professional writers do. Ages 12-18.
