SUMMARY:Philip Daniel: Candlelit Piano Concert
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a mesmerizing CANDLELIT performance by Philip Daniel.\nPhilip Daniel has earned over 30 million streams worldwide because his music doesn’t ask you to sit still and listen politely. It pulls you in. The Lincoln-based pianist and composer trained at UMKC Conservatory and creates a sound that lives somewhere between contemporary classical\, cinematic scoring\, and something you’ve never quite heard before. He uses live-looping\, layered synths\, and percussion to build compositions that feel like they’re unfolding in real time. Influenced by Ólafur Arnalds\, Nils Frahm\, and Philip Glass\, Philip has released six studio albums\, scored original soundtracks for film and dance collaborations\, and built a following that includes both conservatory-trained musicians and people who just want to feel something when they listen. This is the kind of performance that stays with you days later.\nMarch 20th at 7pm\, Philip returns to The Matthews for a candlelit concert featuring two immersive 45-minute sets. Doors open at 6:30pm\, general admission seating\, bar open. The candles\, the acoustics\, the intimacy of the space—this is how live music is supposed to feel. Affordable tickets and a night that actually delivers.\nThe Matthews brings artists like Philip Daniel to downtown Spearfish because live performances like this matter. Moments like these are what keep creativity alive in the Black Hills.\nTickets are affordable and seats are limited. This is the kind of show you don’t want to miss because someone told you about it later. Grab your tickets now\, bring a friend\, and settle in for a night of music that actually moves you.

SUMMARY:Guided Imagery & Creative Expression
DESCRIPTION:This offering begins with a gentle warm-up\, followed by a guided imagery journey that invites participants to connect with their inner landscape through embodied awareness\, visualization\, imagination\, and intuition. Following the journey\, participants are invited into creative expression – writing\, drawing\, painting\, etc. – to integrate and give form to what emerged. Time & space will be offered for optional sharing of your experience and/or creation. Art supplies will be provided. No artistic experience is needed. Participants leave feeling grounded\, resourced\, & connected\, along with a tangible artistic creation and a self-care tool they can carry with them wherever they go.\n——————————————————————–\nSarah Sue Burich serves as a naturopath\, wellness guide & coach\, healing facilitator\, educator\, and earth steward. With 15+ years of experience\, she supports people who long to be more informed and empowered in their healing journey. She often serves those who feel overwhelmed\, unseen\, burned out\, chronically unwell\, alone\, disconnected\, “stuck\,” moving through significant life transitions\, and longing for more answers about their health & well-being than conventional medicine can offer. Her approach bridges modern science with ancestral & earth wisdom\, intuition\, creativity\, & magic. She guides others on the most important journey of all ~ back home to themselves.\nSarah Sue integrates many “tools” into her practice\, including nutrition\, herbal medicine\, energy medicine (chakras\, qigong\, homeopathy)\, somatic\, embodiment & dance therapy\, mind-body exploration\, guided imagery\, family constellation therapy\, soul & spirit medicines\, empowerment & more to address healing across physical\, emotional\, spiritual\, and ancestral layers. Her intent is to create a safe & sacred space\, to allow others to tell their stories\, to be seen\, witnessed\, validated\, and honored. She meets each person with humility\, warmth\, and deep respect for their own lived experience\, wisdom\, gifts\, and inner knowing. She serves as an ally on the journey back home to wholeness through individual sessions\, group experiences\, and workshops that honor the whole person – body\, mind\, & spirit.\n——————————————————————–\nScheduled dates:\n– March 21st\, 10-11:30am\n– April 11th\, 10-11:30am\n– May 16th\, 10-11:30am\n——————————————————————–\nTickets: $15 per person.
